For “Under Voyager,” a solo exhibition by illustrator Mika Pikazo, I designed and produced a series of large-scale display works, including the paired pieces “Laika” and “Grey.

LAIKA
A work inspired by "Laika", the spacefaring dog. Installed at the entrance of the exhibition, she represents the starting point of the narrative of space exploration. Created as a symbol of the past, she is tying to transmit messages toward space.

GREY
A work inspired by the “Grey” alien archetype. Installed at the exit of the exhibition, she represents the endpoint of the narrative. Created as a symbol of the future and unknown visitors, she receives messages sent from Laika. The messages are printed using a built-in thermal printer, allowing visitors to take them home.
